To prevent emails from getting filtered out or getting sent to your Junk/Spam folder, you need to whitelist the sender’s email. For example, when signing up to get my emails, you will need to whitelist my email,

The way to do this will vary depending on your web hosting service, but here are just a couple of examples.

1. Whitelisting emails with Gmail:

Sign in to your Gmail account and add the email address to your Contacts.

2. Whitlisting emails with Outlook:

Go to Settings > Options > Block or allow and add the email to your safe sender list. For more information, click here.

Some things to note:

  • Check your Spam or Junk folder once in a while to see if the wrong emails are getting sent there. Mark the ones you want to reach your inbox as NOT Spam.
  • If you no longer want to receive emails from a newsletter, simply Unsubscribe. Good email services will make it easy for you to do so. You will save yourself time and space in your email service in the future.
